| "Five on Five" - Fall 5k |
| |
 |
Sunday, October 5th
Congratulations to all who participated, and completed our Fall 5k. All proceeds from the event were donated to the Scholarship fund allocated to a deserving Philadelphia High School Student who will be studying business as a Temple Undergraduate in 2009. Congratulations to Luke Urban who won by a very narrow margin, helped by the fact that race favorite Lauren Dougher couldn't compete due to injury. |

 |
February 7th, 2008
Students gathered on the Center City Campus 6th Floor to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Not only did the Asian students cook for everyone, but they also held a dumpling making workshop for everyone to participate. The Asian students decorated the lounge in traditional Chinese lanterns, pictures, symbols and photographs from their homes. |

| |
 |
April 26th, 2008
The Fox School of Business partnered with the International Graduate Student Association and Net Impact to host a barbecue in Fairmaount Park. Other than some great food and drink, everyone was invited to participate in games of Football (a.k.a. Soccer) and Cricket. Net Impact provided drinking cups made from cornstarch, a gift from the Philadelphia Eagles, and recyled all materials used at the BBQ. They also gave seed bombs to all attendees to help beautify their local ares with wild flowers. |

 |
March 30th, 2008
Congratulations to all who attended, and participated in our Semi-Annual 5k, and helped raise funds for last year's charitable beneficiary, the Ronald McDonald House of Philadelphia. Each participant received a free t-shirt for their $20 donation. Congratulations to gold medal winner John Skinner, who completed the course in an impressive 22:08, narrowly beating Reed Wilmerding and Lauren Dougher who came in the silver and bronze positions respectively. Special thanks to Nick Bosch who officiated the event and acted as timekeeper - injury having forced him out of the race. |
